This year Festival of the Rivers will celebrate its fifteenth year by joining with 2nd Saturdays on August 10. It will be a full day of live music, local artists, vendors, a car show, food and fun!

The local Campbell-Flannagan-Murrell House Museum on Summers Street has organized the Festival of the Rivers since 2004. This 15th year the Museum is happy to be joining 2nd Saturdays organization. The Board of the Museum is delighted and grateful to combine with this popular community group.

Festival of the Rivers has been held at the Freight Depot during the Labor Day weekend, but this year it will be held on the 2nd Saturday in August on the grounds behind the Memorial Building, along 2nd Avenue and down into town.

Live music will begin at 12:30 PM and continue until 9:00PM. The headliner band (to be announced) will begin at 7:00 PM. Art vendors will set up at 10 AM. This first year of 2nd Saturday Festival of the Rivers the vendors will not have a set-up fee. We are also hoping any local social services will take advantage of sharing awareness of their program.
