The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair (MSACF), will take place Friday Sept 16 Sunday Sept 18, at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV. The MSACF began in 1963 as part of West Virginias Centennial celebration. In addition to experiencing the hundreds of juried artisans demonstrating and selling their wares, this years Fair will offer the very best of traditional Appalachian music, food, heritage exhibits and interactive family activities.

Held on the grounds of the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, the West Virginia hills provide a beautiful backdrop for this three-day event where exhibitors will have the opportunity to demonstrate and sell their wares. Products available will include those made from wood, glass and metal, as well as one-of-a kind clothing, fine art and much more.

Artisans who exhibit at the fair are selected by a jury of craft experts and most hail from the Appalachian region, said Mountain State Art and Craft Fair President, Karen Facemyer. All products represent some form of traditional or contemporary Appalachian arts and crafts.

In addition to its many artisan activities, this years fair will offer the very best of traditional Appalachian music and concerts, food, heritage exhibits and interactive family activities. Visitors will find a Civil War Encampment, kite making for youth, stunt kite flying and safety demonstrations. Join us for many new exciting activities at this years fair.
