The Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival is the largest Italian festival in West Virginia and the second largest in the United States! The event held at the beautiful Heritage Port on the Ohio River in Wheeling, West Virginia, attracts more than 150,000 visitors from around the United States and Canada. The Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival has more to offer than delicious international foods, legal beverages (including gourmet Italian wines!), a bocce tournament, a Veterans Appreciation ceremony, Sunday Catholic Mass, good fellowship and over 40 hours of free musical entertainment on two stages. Although, who could ask for more? Up and down the Festival midway, you will find arts & crafts booths, amusement rides and numerous games of skill to keep young and old entertained all weekend long!
