The 9th Annual St. Albans Founders Day will be held on Main Street Saturday, May 10, 2014. Sponsored by the St. Albans Founder's Day Committee and the St. Albans Historical Society, this event gets better each year. There were over 50 vendors and food booths last year !!"
This year's theme is: "Early Frontier Days, 1755-1800"
The Opening Parade will begin on Saturday morning at 10 am, beginning at St. Francis Catholic Church and going on Main Street and ended at the Loop..
Founders Day is to celebrate the history of St. Albans and promote the businesses on Main Street, to involve the youth in becoming aware of the fascinating story lived and told right here in our town and it is the opportunity for everyone to learn a little more about the history of the town.
We are working this year to have a antique car Cruise Inn located on the Loop parking lot and some History Alive presenters.
Numerous Food and Craft Booths added to the excitement and entertainment was had throughout the day.
