| Description: | Arts and Crafts 9:30am to 4:00pm in the Richwood JR.High School Gym. We have a lot Crafters that have been coming to our show for years. The Ramp Feed will be from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the High School Cafeteria. Which is located diagonally across from each other and is easy walking distance for all. In April of 2006 we served approx. 1400 meals, so we had a great turnout of paying people and over 100 volunteers to get the meal and area ready. The West Virginia Ramp Festival, or the "Feast of the Ransom," at Richwood, WV, in Nicholas County is among the worlds best known celebrations of the ramp. Each year in mid-April townsfolk gather to prepare a feast of ramps served with ham, bacon, brown beans, fried potatoes, and cornbread. The menu of the day will be ramps, ham & bacon, potatoes & brown beans, cornbread, desserts and beverages.
